Installed a screaming banshee recently!

I finally took the time to install my screaming banshee recently. After trying to find a place somewhere near the stock horn location, I was reduced to finally installing it biased to the right side of the tank. While this seems to be a disadvantage I have played the "dodge being run over" game WAAAY more times from that side, and at 139 decibels I appear to be well heard from the left side as well. Installing the relay in the stock horn was a breeze, and the inline fuse holder sits nicely between the battery and the frame.

Let me know if I'm ruined my structural integrity, that's a 3/8" hole.

Be safe out there: if you want to go 120 mph get on the track or jump out of a plane.

The F models have two holes right in that area where you have mounted it. on both sides. your structural integrity is fine.  :thumb:

I don't want a horn, I want a megaphone connected to my helmet bluetooth, so I can YELL at people instead.  O0

a megaphone you say, i used to have a 12v police siren/megaphone on my CBR125, it was great fun, some car tries to overtake, pop on the siren and demand them to pull over, then just fly past haha.

a siren would not fly around here! you would get ticketed/arrested so quickly... lol

I'm planning on putting one of these bad boys on my 07 F.
How loud is this thing? And would you possibly know if there is room to mount it under the fairings?

you could possibly mount it to the black frame that holds the headlight and front fairing. either way, you're probably gonna need to make a bracket.

Thinking maybe also mountable to the fairing bracket area near front bottom of tank? Pretty much deepest section of fairing. ... 139 decibels tho? Hahaha hope the kit comes with earplugs?! Lmao

The level of noise that the rider hears is actually not that bad because the flute is faced away from you.
Not trying to raise this thread from the dead, just forgot it existed and hadn't read the replies.
