Scorpion EXO-500

I got this a couple weeks ago:



It has some nice features: drop down sun-visor, EASILY removable face shield, high-quality paint with clear coat over all graphics, pneumatically adjustable cheek pads, anti fog that actually works.

What I don't like is the "intermediate oval" shape. Apparently I need "regular old round. I measure about 25 inches around the head and even with the XXL, the cheek pads are still tight despite having not being pumped-up at all.

Anybody else have experience with this one? I'm going to see if I can switch the liner for one size larger. If that doesn't work, I might have to look into a Bell...

I got one last year...on closeout sale...cheap price...

At first I thought it fit like crap...and was going to return...but then...

I had to change out the cheek pads to bigger size (thinner pads)...

I never bother to pump up the cheeks..

I've worn it for most of this spring and summer...fits nice now...comfortable...good air circulation..

Love the sun visor..and the features of the main visor..lock, and crack open...

Nice helmet IMHO

What sizes did you go to & from? This one arrived with the paint chipped, so I got Motorcycle Superstore to give me an additional 15% off.  It's a good deal, so I'm trying to find a way to keep it (which, of course, is not a good way to choose a helmet).

my Scorpion 500 Helmet is XL....switched cheeks to XXL....

In my previous Z1R helmet...I wear a "small"...and yet another Z1R it's a "large"...

I guess helmet sizing is a crap shoot....
