Hey all stopping by for a quick Gday great to see some of the old hands still kicking about since I graced this board. I bought a BMW F800R when I got my 'big boy' licence which I rode the crap out of for the better part of 3 years (and 40 000kms) until a couple of months ago when this happened..... This a a good before photo

And here is the after........

Bike was a total write off as was the car I was pushed into (we were both stationary at the time) and to add insult to injury the guy who hit me in the van had no insurance. Luckily I was fully insured as was the car I hit so we were both payed out. In terms of injury I came out of that pretty unscathed aside from a bruise on my shin, and a decent tear in my illiosois muscle (hip flexor muscle) Luckily it happened on my way home from work so workers compensation insurance has taken care of my medical bills, wages and rehab.

Anywhoo just a couple weeks ago I picked up my "new" bike and thought I'd share here cause ole janx was asking me to stop by (congrats on the promo too)

Its taking me a while to get some confidence back (as always when you come back from an off) but JESUS this thing is properly scary fast.
Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

At least your BMW's have the engine oriented the proper way in the frame!

Be aware, this is not very wise advise!
