What front/rear pads to get for GS500 ??

Hey guys,

I think Im in need of new brake pads, but really not familiar with bike parts. Does anyone have any suggestions on cheap yet decent (non high performance) pads to get? I'm from Australia, so i 'think' importing these days 'might' be more costly? (aus $ much lower these days)

Ill call up the local Suzuki dealer, see what they stock, but in the meantime, any suggestions would be super.

I'm also in Oz. If you're not in a huge hurry, you can get EBC pads pretty cheaply off eBay.
But yes, when I ordered them the AUD was slightly higher.... See how cheaply Suzuki can get them for you.

I recently changed the front pads on my 09 F and I used EBC Double-H Sintered Brake Pads (FA231HH). Initially I found them a bit grabby but once I got used to them I think they are wonderful and wouldn't use anything else. I tend not to use the rear as much as I should, and so I the stock pads are still in use, but I would probably replace them with the same - I prefer my rear brakes to be less harsh.
