SOLD

For sale is a 1996 Suzuki GS500 with ~16,200 miles.   I have owned the bike since 2003.  The bike is in very good mechanical and cosmetic condition and has been garage kept since I got it. The emergency tool kit, a Haynes repair manual, and a Tourmaster magnetic tank bag will be included in the sale.

Some additional information:
- The tires (Avon RoadRiders), chain (EK SRX Quadra X-ring), and front and rear sprockets were replaced in 2013 and have less than 1,000 miles on them.
- The battery is a brand new AGM type.
- The front fork springs are upgraded progressive types.
- There is a small dent in the gas tank.  The paint is not damaged and the inside of the tank is clean and free of rust.
- There is a scratch on the muffler.
- The right side of the handlebar is missing its bar-end weight.  I've never noticed a vibration problem so I haven't bothered replacing it.

The bike will be sold as-is of course, no warranty or guarantees.

Feel free to call or email with any questions or to request additional photos.

Bike is sold, for $1,300 to a local buyer from Craigslist.  Sorry to see it go but I just wasn't riding enough to justify keeping it around.  That, and the new minivan was asking for more room in the garage  :D

Let me get this right, you sold a motorcycle for a minivan?

Moderators.....  BAN HIM NOW!

Just kidding man. Congrats on the sale, looked like a really clean bike.

Mercy!

It was a great bike for the 12 years I owned it, the new owner seems like a good dude so hopefully it'll serve him as well as it did me.  I'll be back on a bike someday
