Hey everyone im new to riding I've been riding for about 6 months. Anyways I have a problem I was hoping someone here could help with. Recently I had to get my tires changed so I decided to take the wheels off and take them to the dealer instead of taking my whole bike. The whole thing wasn't as bad as I thought it be it was pretty easy to do but after putting them back on I sensed my bike was a little off I tried to see If the rear tire was misaligned and I used the tape measure method where you measure from the swing arm pivot point to the axle nut on each side and i used the counting thread method it looked fine but my tires an uneven contact patch on them so I don't know what to do is it not straight ?

On another note I also didn't use a torque wrench to tighten my axle nut in the front or back and I noticed my speedometer is reading slower then it used too so im wondering if I tightened them too much or if I messed up the speedometer somehow when removing the wheel or it could be somehow related to the alignment thing.

By the way I have a 2005 GS500F thanks for your help I really appreciate any good answers.
