Ive spent a lifetime working in electrical engineering, which means I know absolutely NOTHING about Osteopathy, but if I was to guess, I'd say that film looks like the profile view of a camel toe.

Did I guess correctly?

First of all somewhat belated congratulations for making 41. Given everything that is going on with your health, that is a major achievement. The second point is that you have to give your body a chance to heal itself and that means TIME. Which means patience. Which means that when the vet, er doctor, tells you not to put weight on the leg then you don't, for whatever reason. It's a pain, but it can be done. I once dislocated my ankle and broke the bottom inch off the tibia, which meant 3 months of nwb, but I survived. It wasn't easy, but it is doable.

Be aware that there are a bunch of people here who obviously care, and will give as much support as they can. The internet is a wonderful medium for entertainment, education and can be time well wasted. You will get back to normal, whatever normal is, but you progress may seem slow and erratic.

That ankle radiograph was shot 11 days after the previous. maybe 12 days. when i got the Mrsa in the medial malleolus (outside of the tib) at its widest point. if you zoom in at full res. the solid white line on the outside of all bones  its not there. line is very thin as it is.  when i left the hosp on the 29th of dec,  to the 11th difference is quite apparent. plus it made my neurosurgeon curse. " Aaron your  ankle is flucked up it went to hell in 12 days. plus today is or will be the 3rd relapse of the charcot foot. i could push into the skin the pit would remain for 5 minutes. foot nearly twice size of other one it seems. my ortho on the other hand seems to  not really care anymore.   he  says " youre well on your way to losing your ankle. " Both my neurosurgeon and my ortho are world renowned. i think hes  getting pissy about all of this. this was round 2 of the foot swelling. like im wasting his time.  he asks are you looking for more pain medicine? he at same  time pushes into the mid portion of the top of my foot. i had been working on my german  for 4 weeks. as he did that, the pain OMG, i screamed, and said in german " No dr obvious, im here to be a hemorrhoid. a genuine pain on your backside. what is the problem? he wraps it and tells me to come back in a month . he left a prescription for fentanyl patches . i took the wheelchair out the lobby. nurse flagged me down saying " aaron, your prescription, dont you want it?" i turned around i politely asked her to follow me. pain level was at a solid 15 on a 10 scale. i asked her  you heard the commotion? not only did it feel like he was trying to kill me in there, he writes me a prescription which WILL kill me . when crossed with the zyvox/linezolid. besides if 3 dilaudid injections in a row barely touched it, this sure as hell wont. 1 injection would normally make me so loopy id be flirting with the trashcan. she said wait right here, ill get him to change it. i said thank you but no. got my appointment cardand left. I swear hes pissy because his colleague ended up taking HIS job on left ankle. Dr kahn the neuro, explanted the spinal device,  and also discovered the infection on L ankle. i see wound care tomorrow. IF i can get there, SNOW, theyll xray and culture it.     contemplating taking all of this to a different practice. idk. i see wound care tom. i MUST  have it cleared before fusion can happen. but kahn also says  once it proceeds past   a certain percentage, baah. May have dr kahn finish it.  or stabilise it long enough for me to get a referral to another . dr reat was totally not himself. BUT ive got good news.
Got the insulin pump going. deductible was $440 i got 1 bottle from the samples box. a full 1000u. it gets better. well i almost got put in hosp. testing the meter, i asked her, i said  since i couldnt take my insulin this am, my glucose feels VERY high. tested at 600+, i said hmm if i bump the daily up to 80 i may be able to get cost down. said im fighting infections and fractures and such. the extra could be useful. this brought the copay down from 440 to 274.  my pharm. said would they write for 3 mos? i said sure. this coupled with an obscure discount card of some sort, got me 9 bottles for $47. the strips for the meter, which coms with pump. average $1 each in bottles of 50. ( cvs walgreens etc) i found 300 on amazon for 49.50 nurse was floored by that. i dont have a drug copay. never have. yet yesterday a few hundred. dad GOD bless him covered it. bcbs will send reimbursement checks in a couple weeks. glad there was no copay on the 5600 antibiotics. they cover this w/o as much as shrugging shoulders. other than dr scheissekopf  moment, this week is shaping out pretty good. ill get the strips asap. got my generics on hand so all is perfect. tad nervous about woundcare and perhaps HBO  again, but theyre good. now with the ankle swollen out now, i cant wear the aircast anymore. it rubs on both the FX and the wound. so ill use ace bandages and tape until tomorrow. and get a larger aircast. cant wait. soon as fusion takes, recuperation  maybe a year. maybe far longer. found a couple potential jobs. with open starting dates. but dayamn i can almost see the light at end of tunnel. if ankle doesnt blow, im good. rd 3 charcot foot. wound care can get this  stabilised. right now. im strictly lazy. but NOT bored. starting my artwork again, and using dragon, some writing

Sounds like a corner has (very cautiously) been turned and things are beginning to improve, if only microscopically. So pleased to hear that.

BTW, what the hell does "zwei gebrochene Knöchel einer doppelt" mean? I got as far as two, and then failed the rest!

If i recall correctly " i broke both ankles. one of them twice" Been teaching myself german. when Dr. reat as good of a surgeon as he is, when he pushed into the roof of my foot i called him a scheisskopf amongst other things. a sh*thead" i Did recall one of the nurses in the room quickly cover a laugh/smile. she asked as she was leaving the room, btw did you call him a sh*thead? i said amongst other things. best book i ever grabbed for 10 cents at goodwill. " barroom german, things you were NEVER TAUGHT in language class. plans in future to travel there. and photograph a few streetsigns.  a few having Both paternal family surnames. Bahr-thoma strasse. sorry i digress, things just went to sh*t in ankle, trying to get my mind off of it. feels as though the syndesmosis joint/tendon just ruptured. the syndesmosis is that space between the tib and fib. instant severe pain and heat. the pain dissipated somewhat, the bottom side of the heelbone as well asthat bone where Dr. scheissekopf pressed in. that bone i know had issues. 2nd time the charcot foot did this, was when that happened, and the stability/support. almost gone now. i stood up to figure the heat issue.  VERY well supported. it wanted to turn and buckle.

Then i get a voicemail. ETHRA ( transit vans) they cancelled thursday runs. due to snow. roughly 6", Methodist medical ctr. wound care calls  saying my 10am appointment will have to be delayed. theyre not coming in until maybe noon. unless i want the 3:15 slot. i said no ill take the noon one. this ankle  ( as it was earlier) needs to be examined. with this development , i feel  i may end up in the hospital . im trying to make it to wound-care centre tomorrow. also with the swelling at ankle joint. the  shattered bones on lateral err L  side. and the wound on the medial malleolus. ( the bottom of the tib), if i put the aircast on, both sides  are touched slightly. that is a burning pain close to fx pain. and no wayy to ease it. either i find one of my TCC casts i had when at UT  having wound work done.  i should just go to ER. But,  ill be there in triage for hours. putting a to go bag together.  i was able to gain some room in the the moonboot. to accomodate for the swelling. i do NOT want to go to hosp in OR.  WHERE i got the staph. but i dont think it matters at this point.

8 hours and i find out whats up. i changed bandages  a bit ago this was kinda cool in a weird sorta way. i looked at the back of ankle you can see the differences in skin color. same with where the ( metatarsal fracture pointing upwards kind yet it was perfectly flat.  taking pics of  of it may post if  it is safe for work. everytime i get what appears to be charcot foot i break a bone.  after

Didnt make wound doc today.  couldnt get car up the road. dad tried, then i did. got a bit of a flu type feeling yesterday. felt like hell. anyhoo i see neuro monday THEN i see wound ppl tuesday

Wasnt able to make wound care appt thursday. snow made roads non usable. father couldnt make hill leading from home. was concerned he couldnt get back to house. even tho i had a med suspension on dl, i took wheel. said if i can take hill, you can proceed on to doc. or return to house. took 2 tries. i made hill. but then saw s curves were to put it mildly,  hazardous. i said" hmmm this may hurt me but im turning around. went back home. been quite ill since. but since i see neuro surgeon monday and wound ppl tues. ill pack a go bag again. have a feeling ill be hosp. had to suspend antibiotics because whateveri swallowed would come back up in short order. i resumed those this morning.
i promise ill be fine. but the hosp. may be best bet until illness passes. or docs can prescribe something to ease this. NOW if ankle deteriorates much further, ill lose it. if i can clear the infection, i can save ankle. i HAVE to eradicate the infection before fusion can happen.
a few weeks ago fusion was optional. it is now necessary. but neuro will help me regain my Dl. and will give me the auth. for hand controls. all will work out. i promise 
felt this update was necessary. will update further this weekend i promise.

Aack. dealin with flu like symptoms, (cant keep hardly anything down) or stomach goes into this mode very easily, high blood glucose levels, yet minimal food intake (due to aforementioned) plus a gnarly cough. something aint right, i know side effects from the anti probably have something to do with it. ( it plays nice with no one). got to power through to monday at least. had to reschedule wound care to tuesday due to snow. but the neuro monday should be able to look into things in detail. snow coming in tonight means im potentially stuck here til mon anyways.
may end up in hosp monday idk. missed a couple of antibiotic doses. ( no sense in taking them if i couldnt keep anything down.) Baah cant wait til ALL of this is done lol. everything else cant proceed until then. ahh well, patience always seems to work out for the best anyways.

Ehh,  ill make it through to monday. if roads got closed off, it being only sat. shouldnt be an issue. had an argument with the ex friend. via text message.  deleted him off of fb.  prolly will change number monday. 6 days until this cursed/very expensive/and very strong antibiotic is finished. 2 weeks after that, diet restrictions lift. i wont go back on it if theres an alternative.

Speaking of side effects , on my AV system,
the yamaha rx v665, the jbl northridge speakers, and the 12" powered polk subwoofer, was set up perfectly before i went into ccu on christmas eve. im 6 days from finishing my antibiotic regimen. ive noticed stereo sounds extremely bassy. i turned down the sub, the enhancements, even turned the dolby off. yet i pick up low tones very EASILY. ILL RUN the YPAO setup again shortly. but nobody had touched the system in my absence. (no one can figure it out,) love my audio but this bassy stuff ill have to stop. hope its reversible. when/if i have to run antibiotics again, damaged hearing id prefer over death any day.

I THEN cannibalise the currie ezip400 the ex friend abandoned. come up with a drive setup ( friction or chain) that way it will freewheel easily. the battery pack, motor and controller weigh MAYBE 8 lbs. ive got a contact switch which must be depressed to power it. and grip for speed. i have almost everything on hand.
neuro prolly wont approve.

yeah i cursed a french doc in german. a funny story about both. ( saved for future update.)
but the knee walker im going to try and put softer tires on it first.

The electric knee scooter will be limited to nothing more than a fast walk. (bout what i do with a single chevroleg).
Went to walmart to get a horn for it. couldnt find a battry operated one so grabbed a 7 dollar obnoxiously LOUD squeeze horn. after a few near collisions. but inside use wont happen. cause ppl 2 aisles over jumped when i tested it.   also grabbed a smartphone holder so i can shoot video. (using my htc thunderbolt) i deactivated it and went back to this pos. although for 99c this thing has held up remarkeably well. Now Tomorrow:
Depending upon the progression of ankle damage, i will either Video my trip to the hosp. (bldgs connected byy LONG hallway) if im admitted. or ill video trip there to pick up my xray copies. going to start Vlogging this. heck needed to do something for youtube. Now, this may sound weird, but ill have 2 choices about my ankle. fusion or a below knee amputation. either will happen soon. (within a couple weeks.) tbh i feel as though an amp. makes more sense. it eliminates the infection by default, plus recovery is shorter and with a prosthetic limb ill be on my feet alot sooner. and able to return to work possibly. OR with fusion it will be deformed and somewhat weaker. plus rehab a year minimum. i know it sounds funny err weird. nobody in their right mind WANTS to lose a limb. im in my right mind (least i think so lol) but im looking at the end result. healing, and attempting to return to being productive. ill see what he says tomorrow. hes going to help me regain my DL, says hell write the paperwork for hand controls. (fusion). wth i can drive an automatic with 1 foot. the R one
everyone does this way. my days of driving a manual are done. anyhoo will see what he says. will ask him about this IF i need to. L ankle if fused will be locked at 90 deg. but can move foot . if it will LAST and support my weight,  ill gladly go with that. if it wont support my weight, why keep it?. tbh i dont care if its deformed, as long as it holds me. the charcot foot/ankle flareup, ive broken 1 bone in foot already. Ortho  (the one i called Dr. Scheisskopf) pressed hard on it. either it was already broken or that helped it. id seen it after the swelling went down. ( ill take a pic. its kinda cool. it will re fuse.) anyhoo if they admit me, or not, will use hosp. wifi to upload that vid. if it turns out lol. (ill be safe trust me. ive broken enough bones to break the quota.) will update tomorrow.

Baah, he handed me off to Dr. Scheissekopf ( baah thats his un official official name now.) but since he IS my ortho, he shall wield the scalpel. i see him i THINK  2.5 weeks. will see where i stand unless it goes to hell again. i see would care tmrw, ortho will figure out how to repair this mess. give me enough time ill figure out how to hack the directory, and change his name to scheisskopf. i SWEAR lol.  anyhoo i uploaded the test run on the knee scooter to youtube. geez  this camera doesnt like the vibes.

LOLWTH, this explains it. got my bone scan results back. im at high risk for breaking everything but my skull. especially my ankles. and ortho wants to fuse my ankle. idk if he got those results , but in 2.5 weeks ill bring them with. and ask "umm for something with a rather sig. comp. rate, coupled with these results, will this work? , its either that or losing foot/ankle, i guess i take it EXTREMELY easy . i keep weight bearing to an absolute minimum.
