that wool pad is a lifesaver. but im thinking of re-doing the stripes. with enamel. following the same lines. except at the very back. thats coming off. or maybe two toning it. keeping the blue, but the lower half of upper tube and upper half of lower tube. in the silver. that would be a 1 shot deal.

ill end up restriping it for now. but since im drawn  to the ble/silver idea, when circumstances permit, was toying with the idea of stripping it down completely and having frame resprayed in "luxury blue pearl" like i had on my '03 sportster. depending upon paint cost of course. then again may just leave as is. still stuff to do to it ;)

WAS chuckling for a moment but for extra "pimp" bonus points, i could take the  armrest covers ( same material as pad cover.) and apply them to frame tubing lol.
may do it just for a pic.

After 2 days of nausea and flu like stuff, saams ankle has shifted to the lateral side an 8th in further. :technical: had no choice in this matter. but dont have to see ortho for 5.5 more weeks. idk if he wants to do anything or not. going to get a second opinion. idk if it will last nearly 6 wks.  hell its 2 different colors lol. feels like ancient history, yet only a tad over 6mos.

Yama... buddy mate pal! ... have you been doing stuff with that leg at all? .. seems it moves and fails to set same spot when you 'just had to do' something? !! ..

Manhugs and all but I hope you have 'been a good chap' and not irritated the ankle with poor usage!?

yup. i do now. found several of them from the 6 tims ive been in hosp since aug.  now i work on the kneewalker pimpout. 1 trainingwheel and a few other pieces and ill be good. in a few weeks ill have funds on hand to finish that one.  working on the pc now. putting it back into the OEM  case until i finish the McGyver case mod. there was case made a few years ago with space for 2 mobos. trying to get my paws on one of those.

Actually some good news on the pc front. i found the motherboard name./ model. Ih61M along with the barebones pinout. hdd led and power switch. along with defeating the intrusion switch. ( if its enabled its done via bios) or i can incorporate switch into the ultra case. so no case modding necessarry.  i can save forthcoming funds and build planned pc case out of legos.  and eventual incorporation of analog VU level  meters. (2x audio out) and 2x audio in. so pc barring catastrophic failure, which hasnt happened in a decade :) and wont. will be operational this time tomorrow, with EVERYTHING.  EXCEPT FOR the networking card.  well it will be installed but not used.  ( i can use a router for that future purpose). contemplating mounting the dvd burner upside down so the tower case can be put inside my home theatre stand sideways. and disc catch can be used. or turned anti clockwise and bay mounted.  am going to save up and grab a 12v pc case fan or air hockey blower fan as a pull vent fan for entertainment centre. will do case conversion after this. since the Yamaha Rx-v665 av reciever generates heat and pc will also. Tomorrow planning on wheel mount for 1 training wheel for the knee scooter. found the wheel i want to use. off of an older walker. a 6" semi pneumatic wheel. perfect for the job. ill have it done tomorrow as well. using a neck clamp for my 55mph tt bike i had motorised at one point.

BINGO ! , figured out how to convert from tbars on kneescooter to the HD drag bars im wanting to use. or the tt
bars ive got at house. an adjustable angle MTB 1 1/8" threadless handlebar clamp. this will save me ALOT of headache. i just remove the tbar with hacksaw and apply clamp and bars. (or i make new extender with pipe from hardware store) and use this clamp
or one like it..
www.ebay.com/itm/Adjustable-Rise-Angle-Bicycle-Bike-1-1-8-Threadless-Stem-120-120mm-/291629637713?hash=item43e67b2051:g:aPEAAOxywFhTc4bY will try grabbing this in a few weeks. the one from my TT bike is too small in diameter. i believe its 1in. the stem after tbar removal is 1.125 may check parts bikes collections and see if i have one already.. will update. after bar conversion  it wont be far from finished.

Maybe a double bingo !  may not need the the mtb handlebar mount. i was in pain and couldnt sleep, so   went and dug thru the parts  stash and glanced at the currie Ezip  e300s parts unit i had on porch. its column MAY BE a direct bolt on. (using the oldschool wedge mount that both have) its black anodised so that would get rid of the only shiny bits on the knee scooter. ONLY  downside is it isnt height adjustable. BUT would be closer to correct length   PLUS  i can change handlebars at will. the TT bars from my scott waimea will bolt on Or the anodised grey bars from moms Giant  will bolt on as well. since ive nothing planned for tomorrow may test fit. if it works ill make conversion. ill lose basket mount BUT walmart sells one. ( basket mount) wish me luck.

correction: its a currie Ezip E450s

Eyeballin this thing gave me an idea if i can find one of these E scoots  in decent shape ( or a screaming deal on a24v battery pack  and charger as well as a throttle, i can fabricate a curved axle mount and weld it to this ( or acquired e scoot)  and make a solid electric kneewalker out of it.  this will be a future as funds permit build. but anyhoo this column  SHOULD bolt directly  on provided  wedge hardware interchanges internally. the kneescooters neck is longer. will find out tomorrow. or figuring out how to engineer a SECURE  steering neck clamp on mount  for the kneewalkers curved axle. OR find a narrower rear drive weel/motor combo that will fit this one. or using the rear end of the donor currie, i can engineer a bolt on drive conversion.
the kneewalkers rear end is narrower  vs that of the currie. motor mount can also be included in the bolt on conversion. Or before i go cutting it apart, if THIS is operable, can acquire the kneewalker parts to convert. right now its locked up. idk if thats the brakes or motor. (motor brake on rear) if electrics are good , ill leave this one alone. and convert it. safetywise id prefer a front end conversion ( using kneewalker all terrain replacement parts) OR could find a used 3 wheeled mobility scooter. COULD convert moms :( jet 3 ultra for this. just needs 2 deep cycle batteries. just HEAVY as hell. lol. Baah maybe i was an engineer in a former life lol. anyhoo will update tomolrrow on conversion prospects.

The things NEW are less than 230 shipped From walmart.com may test motor tomorrow, if it runs,  MIGHT BE worth a pack and charger to convert. as of now its a mystery machine. idk. motorisation still  a ways off.

Hmmmmm,. knee scooters column is steel. mtb clamp is aluminum i believe. COULD  find a piece  of 1 1/8  steel tubing. if the E scooter column  swap wont work. unless i can find a steel handlebar clamp

Update on the ankle it burns lol :"( elevate it, it burns put it down it burns, using R.I.C.E ( Rest,Ice,Compression,Elevation) along with ineffective pain meds, no help. i resplinted it while working on the kneewalker. got a bit of relief then. and slept lol.  its pink on one side and slightly purplne on other. its a mess. as dr reat explained it wikll be deformed. but if it will fuse without 15lbs of screws in it, or loss of it, ill settle for that :). now the scooter,  holding off on bar swap until i find a threadless bar clamp which will fit  a threadless upper stem, ( 1 1/8 " OD , I BELIEVE ITS 4130 alloy. its steel at least magnet is drawn to it. the bolttom tube is a quill mount. still want to see if the currie column will fit. not a huge fan of chrome/polish. when rest of colour scheme is dark blue and black. ( and soon to be hand applied silver enamel striping) if the currie column woluld fit it would be ideal. its black PLUS  it has a bar clamp already. but no matter what, most of the i7deas are done. except for a few more. ( whitewalls etc. that is a future job filed under priorities lol, that one i want to combine with the 52 spoke wheels. although then the polnished steering will fit a bit better i think.
