The medial side has all but quit hurting. ( where   the mrsa wound is/was. the outside (smashed fibula side) the lateral side still hurts like all hell tho. i put weight on it by putting it on the ground,  and little pain. just doesnt do fracture any good. dr would growl at this. but after 10 minutes it gets cold and semi numb. but the charcot acts up. ironically ill never wear normal footwear ever again assuming i keep this foot. i see wendi at the ADA office on the 2nd. ill be the voice of what NOT  to do as a diabetic. then to GP doc after that. im going to be idle . OH i was windowshopping pc cases and i stopped by the lian li site. ( always some great stuff there. theyve got a pc case i want that looks like a yacht. lol. but theyre only producing 500 of them. ay end up going clear again, or something totally weird. of my own design. ( like a nude female mannequin or something lol.)
will see. ill find the yacht case. kinda cool tbh. lian always has some cool stuff.

lol i want , but my pc parts would NOT fit within.
if i went boat it would be a foot longer. thought about gutting a broken sony vcr and using that  and placing it within the entertainment center. as the saying goes " an idle mind is the devils playground" so ill come up with something weird. maybe even hanging the hardware from the ceiling using fishing line. sans case. (or mount it inside my franklin stove a fireplace ive not used in a couple years lol.) goal will be minimal if any cost. using material on hand.

Might be able to do the bar swap after all. YES ! it will work .. Sorry, i started  doing this mid post. bars wise, i go thru the spare bikes parts got the bars from the waimea . the TT bike. the giant MTB mom had, it would work too . SWEET.  a mod which was free lol. the bonus is it gets rid of the only chrome piece on the knee scooter. chrome would be ok if there was more on the thing. i lose the basket mount but one of those can be made. having wider bars will help ALOT. THE TT bars have brake levers which bolt onto the ends.

got the steering mounted. i cant find the giant mtb bars, going to trim err shorten the TT bars from the scott waimea. doing this now since ankle is numb. put the splint on so i dont fall again.

Monday ive no plans and nothing to do to knee scooter so to benefit whats left of ankle im going to be lazy. Tuesday ive an appt with primary doc so while there, going to get a referral to another ortho, to get a 2nd opinion on the ankle. dealing with the way it feels for another 4 weeks wont be fun. current ortho doesnt seem to want to do anything to it. if 2nd opinion is same, thats fine. it will never be as it was before the fracture. but if left as is i wont be able to ride a bicycle anymore. doctor did offer to clear me for hand controls to drive again. tho. i   could drive a manual with a hand clutch if needed.  id like to at least have the ankle without the over 15deg. angle to the outside tho.  fusion or amp. would take care of this. current doc says its trying to fuse itself. which id be greatful for if that angle wasnt so drastic. buying shoes will be interesting. cause only the right foot is normal. but fwiw this r&r time will help me heal as well as figure out next scooter mod. and here in a week or so once comp is finished, i can plan the gs trike

Kinda torn between the two choices. either the 3    52 spoke wheels and the whitewalls , or the alloys and the blackwalls. ive got time to decide, ill put back the 150 to grab all, this would be the final purchase structurally for the knee scooter. the 52 spoke would be a fairly strong wheel yet would look odd with blackwalls. and vice versa. whitewalls would look weird  with the alloys. weight is comparable. may talk myself out of it entirely lol. tbh tho the wires have a slight edge cause plans are in the works for 3 fenders. a pimped out lowrider knee scooter.

may just hold off on the wheels. but acquire blackwall street type tires when funds permit. but stick with the blue and silver color scheme. and focus on motorising it.

I DO like the whitewalls better tbh but theyre 2x the price and it seems only sold in pairs. when i only need 3..
still may wait on the whitewalls but idk.  heck ive got no plans this week, may see what can be found locally.
and let ankle rest. will try to find some better bar ends too at some point.
