I really don't think it's an option to NOT complain about reat!

Sure you are a troublesome patient that refuses to stay off your ankle with its many issues. .. but his "lets wait and see" formula seemed wrong to me from very early on!... wasn't going to argue the point tho cos he is the doc! ..

Hope you get resolution this time bro!

im sure there were times he came in :) and left :technical: BUT im actually glad he DIDNT get into it. its hard to get one to work after another. or ON anothers work. this past wed. i was thinking K it seems a bit TOO early to be saying jobs done. then i put 2 and 2 together. :(

Here's the ankle from the inside viewpoint. Hard to see flaws unless you zoom in.

p.s. Pandy if the purple haired smiley isnt working, ive still got it in my pb acct. then again this phone may be to blame. i cant see the pics i insert. still trying to figure out how to make a purple haired one with green streaks in it. which is easy enough. except details lol. i.e. a round smiley becomes square. details are little more than a pixel in width. hadnt tried with moving ones, i no longer drink lol. good to see you again  ;) btw will needto get my paws on a couple gstwin decals for the kneescooter. ive had those on pretty much every project. INCLUDING a gs500 and a car lol. anyhoo updates to come. Hopefully BETTER.

the air tired scooter has a 10ft turning radius. figured a safe way  to turn it on its own axis. keep bad ankle on platform, squeeze brake it WILL hold. pick up 2" with the Ti ankle and spin around. idea for elevators. will test monday at wound place. but it works here. plus only 2" off ground in front. =not dangerous.

After this mornings rounds of severe weather, i was in fracture agony. tbh was not thinking the best thoughts. anyone who had just broken a bone knows this pain. it almost felt like the MRSA had relapsed. but it had eased a bit. now i may be able to sleep. (until next time) had plans to get off of the pain meds mid/late summer once FX had healed, that may be postponed a bit. when i go for the crow boot fitting monday, if budget allows, will also have to count for its thickness on the knee scooter. ive fears the charcot may be migrating to the R foot too, but as long as the Ti plate holds im good. maybe time to start acquiring the items ill need to power it. i still want to put 52 spoke wire wheels on her as well. Oh btw the kends K124 slicks work great. and i discovered it has brake Disc mounts on it too :D one of my goped calipers will fit... anyhoo i must locate at least 1 or 2 gstwins decals for it . (long project tradition there lol) anyways will update again later today.

the three 52 spoke fronts ive found at IIRC 39ea. could go cheaper and grab 28 spoke fronts (x3) but kinda like the look of the 52s idk. that one i think is a ways off. another one im contemplating is putting fenders on front. ala 1920s era automobile style. figured out how to make them work too. they stay pointed frontwards while wheels turn. and attached to curved front axle mount. a semi required mod would be drilling another seat/platform anchor point, to allow me to lower it a half inch. its already down as far as it will go. if i remove the security anchor, it can go down a bit further. the anchor prevents it from turning horizontally. the bicycle style quick release clamp holds the up down part of it.
(trying to account for the CROW boot if i get it. (i SHOULD be able to get coverage on it at or near 100%.)

Contemplating a repaint of the knee scooter, in tribute to patrick and the huhsky bike project. i.e.. purple and white. along with a scaled down decal  of team. i figured since the device is about the size of a childs bicycle maybe a tad larger, a pint each of purple and of white, (and 2 coats clear) its feasible. would cause massive confusion around here lol. because most ppl expect orange and white (UT vols) oh btw  finished with woundcare now. got cleared yesterday so new ortho can do his thing when he sees fit. also got order placed for the crow boot. a long day lol. now im bored again lol. the boot place was in a location, i didnt know existed. (google "security square oak ridge tn" then zoom out a tad. behind that is a self storage place behind THAT is another mini strip mall looking place. i.e. proof right there i dont get out enough. oh they need to change the street address . if you google the boot places addy, it will place you nearly INSIDE the y12 plant. those ppl dont play nice lol.

other than front neck (vertical) seatpost, and rear wheel mount. those are the only straight lines there are. everything else is curved.  two-toning it will be fun. but can acquire the materials as funds permit, and do it when im able to do so.

hmmm white over purple or vice versa, thinking of 2 toning it like a 57 chevy. thinking purple over white. purple being main colour. a pint of each, a pint of primer, and clear as well. ill photochop it using autodesk sketchbookx. as funds permit will acquire the supplies. thinking midsummer should complete it. (after final procedure on L ankle is finished.) will post the pic at some point tomorrow.

wound care cleared me, next step is new ortho fusing ankle and cleaning it up. it scares me somewhat. ( with the recent mrsa incident.) but it needs to be done so i can safely bear weight on it. its bent almost 20deg to outside. he might have to shorten it an inch.  that i can deal with.. need to get back to work if possible. anyhoo moving on to better things, the scooter im planning on white being dominant colour. but will use eggshell white. with fat purple striping. and purple steering knuckles. kinda lookin fwd to this. will photochop it to show you the idea im thinking of.
