Had cardiology stress test canceled today due to low bp.  Instead I get a heart catch tomorrow midmorning. They thought I might have had a mild heart attack due to some a mb normal labs. Idk. Tomorrow will know. Can't wait to get out to b begin working on rebuilding Lola.

Lol just got finished with heart test. Turns out it WAS a mild heart attack. And 4 blockages. Which he says they should be able to handle with medication.

DEF. the ticker i wont mess with. was my ADSS (Aint Dat Some Shiite) reality check. saw 4 occlusions which can be managed with medications. cant eat like a 20yo anymore lol.

Will have to put off employment search indefinately MAIN reason is the cardiac issue. literally had no clue until yesterday morning. well minimal clue. i couldnt handle a stress test, so they CATHed me. saw 4 blockages. i presented with a mild heart attack cardio theorises, which combined with the recent surgery threw me into DKA. i tried to sleep it off. arms hurt like utter hell. the iccu doc said your diabetes almost killed you. i said   i partially agree. said i h adnt had a DKA in a LONG time, and until the DYE CATH, I had little clue. my hypothesis was that the surgery combined with the heart thing, threw me into a DKA fit. cardio says it doesnt require intervention....yet. we can try to handle it for a while with medication.
im all up for that. will get copies of these films thurs when i see my endo, and then make cardio appt and show that to him. so ill be sidelined for a LONG while lol. i could work around the ankle. but ive only got 1 ticker. this COULD partially explain the swelling in the heart the ecg/ekg detected. along with the rapid heartrate. kept setting the apnea alarms off. my resp would go to 0 at times. i was relaxed and would breathe slowly. the machine  didnt like this. i could hold breath for 20 secs ald alarms would go off in my room as well as at the station. i found this out while doing my breathing treatments. id HAVE to hold breath. and every so often this would happen. so they adjusted settings. so it didnt alarm nearly as often.

Setting knee scooter build aside MOMENTARILY.  with the recent cardiac event, ive a choice. since its now part of my history, and future too, i save about 20bux or so  and either pick up a medic alert bracelet to cover this, OR i make an addition to my medic alert tattoo on wrist/forearm ( says diabetic now, but add heart or cardiac to it also.)

So far was put on lipitor 40mg   1x daily picked that up today. was on a heparin drip since day 1 until day before going home. will see what cardio plans. hoping something OTHER than lipitor. ( i do like grapefruit and thTs a NONO) AND we figure out whats next. also have followups on my ear tubes, along with my ankle. looking fwd to the end of this mess. the heart issue will be going on, but can live with this.

¡ Danke !  i royally pissed off a b*tchy woman today following a doc appt. shes going off (undeservedly) against the receptionist. i have a widget that sounds like a PISSED off cat on my tablet. i hit that and you hear her exploding down the hallway.
priceless. idk what set her off but venting on someone without reason just aint cool. tomorrow i have the stitches pullled from my revision. still trying to get a copy of those images along with the imaging from the heart incident. THAT i can do after the surgeon appt tmrw.

Frackin DKA, at risk for it every time ive been hospitalised. was in may 2nd or so for the fusion procedure, may 20 for the revison procedure to remove that screw (pictured). developed DKA may 27, got out jun1 ( DKA  and the minor heart attack troponin levels suggest cellular damage.) ANYHOO it tried to happen again. Blood glucose levels over 600. for 3 hrs. last ditch effort gave 10u of R insulin along with 10.6u from my pump infusing humalog. its down to 531 which is still high. but its going down now.

Was talking with the  missus other evening... one of her work colleagues busted her hip/femur (just below the actual hip joint) last September, had a plate and screws put in..

Has had the devils own job of being able to have the bone knit properly and also the wound to heal all the way... kept on getting minor infections and whatnot. ..

Lady was talking with a medical professor a few weeks back... about the dramas and so on.... he suddenly asked her if she ever had dramas with nickel earrings and jewellery?  She said oh don't even get me started on that! Had troubles for ages/years with cheap jewelry...

He said so you're allergic to nickel and that plate in your leg is mostly nickel or nickel plated.... no wonder the healing is wrong! Body is fighting allergic reaction the whole time!
They are now looking into the situation with renewed interest! Whereas before it was 'oh but you're a bit older and it takes longer sometimes! '

Just thought I'd pass the concept along Yama-bro...  you have had similar issues yes?

all hardware i have is a titanium alloy. the 12mm x 150mm (1/2 " x 6") calculated it was 5.97" so 6 is close eenough lol.. that one is INSIDE my anklebone and tib. the plate on other ankle is on the outside , also a titanium alloy so far no issues other than pain. ( on the left nail job) plus its still draining. sutures pulled yesterday. OH a correction, it was high levels of troponin theyy found its level on the 27th was .533
upon discharge it was .284.

i was diag. with coronary artery disease. (basically i have been eating tasty food. i.e. if it tastes good its bad for you.
i made appt with cardiologist. will figure out plan  on 13th.

because of the cardiac issue ill have to obtain one of those  medic alert systems. theyy run about 40/mo. but would  b ei deal. blah, i dont need the extra expense but in this casei t would work

couldnt sleep. pain in L armpit area. took an 81mg aspirin. it subsided. ironic. the heart will probably kill  me before the diabetes. hey as long as its one of those massive ones. i.e. im dead before i hit the floor.
literally had no clue until the 27th. had chest pains before. but thought nothing of it. as im only 41
BUT if play my cards right ( proper foods etc. eating the tasty bad ones with moderation) i should be able to postpone this indefinately or a long while if anything.
oh since i couldnt sleep, i cranked up the yamaha rx v665 (ht receiver) set the volume to -10 (ranges -80 - +15) and jammed my playlist. specially pink floyd/comfortably numb. had it to +15 ONCE. blasting bach brrandenbug concerto. my god that was painful but wow sounded amazing. at those levels the chimney from my franklin stove harmonizes with it becoming a defacto external speaker. got 2 speakers ive got to put in proper places it will sound even better. ( have to get a roll of wire first.)
