some semi good news ortho said its trying to grow together. so as long as i stay off of it as much as possible, ill be good. i see him again in 2 mos. do need to get my paws on another set of bars for the knee scooter, and bar ends too. then that end will be ffinished . searching in the parts bin for those things. ( hoping against hope lol).

that and the hammer swingin emotes lol. baah he deserves some time off. ive been trying to clean my house up. hard to do on a recovering fused ankle. but i was searching for my bt speaker (808 canz) i used it alot along with an old smartphone/app for a back up beeper. = LOUD lol. was searching for it whilst cleaning. but ankle complaining so quittin time for now. after all only want good updates not oops i screwed up again lol. although btwn now and nexxt ortho appt, i might Buddha Loves You about the weather fronts aggrivating it.

YAY found the 808 speaker. at 4 effin 30 AM. THEN II MISPLACED THE MP3 PLAYER a friend of mine gave me. i had to locate it. found at 5am. i have to use it to tune fm radio. too much electrical noise. its affecting the yam rx v665` s tuning ability. FINALLY got 93.1fm to come in. (80s pop). once ankle calms down, going to try running a piece of coax to my franklin stove. (hadnt used that in a while) but it would be great if that works. cause the mp3 players tuner works great when set on top of the franklin. ANYHOO lol will give a summary of my 6 week hiatus maybe later on today.
fun trying to live on a level 8/10 pain scale. but wth goin for iit.  doing my best to stay off the pain meds. (wiill cover all of this in the summary later today

If i were a betting man, id say a front is coming through soon. ankle is burning. im guessing 24-36 hours from know ill know. just hoping the healing continues and this barometer sh*t minimises.

Mentally im at my wits end. am tired of hurting. on the pain scale im at a solid 7 to 8 on a normal day. btw the scale is 1 to 10   err 0 to 10. when the weather fronts come through i hit a 9. i made the decision to quit opiates because ive been on them since 2009. i.e. my tolerance has built up to the point where theyre largely ineffective. had 3 shots of dilaudid christmas eve when i got hit by mrsa on the fracture site. my pain scale was close to 15. mrsa/staph is a multiplier of pain. i can handle 8 and talk to you and youd not know. that night i was crying. anyhoo, i had planned on quitting at the end of august because of that incident. i had been prescribed 3 percocet 10/325 per day. for perhaps 5 years. really cant get much more without going to a patch ( fentanyl) or an implanted pain pump. and i dont want to go that route  ( either one) i know fracture recovery is a slow painful process....
but due to my tolerance i have to stop. i WANT to stop. i must reprogram my brain to where i was before 2009.. i took that first step in july when my pm doc dismissed me for erratic levels of pill usage. ( well sh*t woman, fractures will do that. having a major surgery on the ankle lol.) i put myself through rehab beginning 4 days after wonderb*tch dismissed me. dismissal on 9th, i call facility on 11th im there on the 13th. in southern california. 2 weeks later im in dallas/grand prairie tx. where i was until aug24th. im home on the 25th. but still in significant pain. cant handle it any longer.  i may have to go against docs orders ( only mild weight bearing at least until nov, and return to light work. 1 im broke as a whore in a convent, and 2 i need to get around ppl to get my mind off of the pain.)
im going to outpatiend counseling 4 days per week. to basically figure out a way to handle this mess. i set up an appt monday with a new general prac./ pm doc to figure out a way to handle my diabetes AND pain issues sans opiates. ive been opiate free since july. but that fight alone is hell lol., at bus terminal in dallas, a guy tried to sell me drugs, i declined. at terminal  in texxarkana, same thing, same answer. then in little rock, a guy offered to give me a pain pill for a half dozen cigs. i gave him 5 bux told him i didnt want the pill. ( that 5 came from the sale of a bic lighter i found in tx lol) another guy tried to sell me crack in memphis. geez wtf. literally W...T...F maybe it was karma for farting on the plane and making that little girl cry. heck i thought the little boy with major BO on the bus was payback. idk how i can deal with the discomfort much longer. ( unless i draw) but i have to return to work somehow. i figured out i can do my old job sitting most of the time. anyhoo am sorry about this pity post. but i owed for my absence and had to vent/ lay my soul bare. please forgive me. the ankle IS healing though. but at this rate ive  got several mos. more to go. then the PT will happen. anyhoo this covers pretty much everything my friends. im doing the alphabet with my ankle. i usually make it to j before i have to lay down. will update again soon.

D*** Yama, the whole situation is a b****, but remember, there ARE people out here that are keeping you in our prayers.

btw, I finally got out of the VA hospital Saturday afternoon, had to take a nap when I got home, just woke up.

Oh, sorry about the mystery, just didn't think about saying what I was going in for.

They put in grafts to replace my left femoral artery from my groin to half way down my calf.

When I woke up after the surgery they wanted to put me on a morphine pump that I could activate every 15 minutes if i needed to, but I told them NO NARCOTICS, they then tried to push Oxy, and again I refused. I did say I would take Tylenol though. (It did NOT help much however.)

I stuck to that decision, but, if I EVER go through anything like that again I WON'T be that stupid a second time.

id ssay it does. in april when i had ankle fused, i was on the morphine pump/ happy button.. which i could hit every 10 mins. working on alternatives for next time. hoping i dont need stents for the coronary blockages. will know in a couple mos. still feelin the fusion though. i get relief when i lay down/ elevate it. but when i do that, i sleep. so i try not to do that often, otherwise id screw my sleep schedule lol.

Yama..  screw your sleep schedule? ... right at the moment, with no real pressing life items on your schedule. .. why not sleep when you feel the need? So what if you fall asleep in the recliner?! ..

Sleep is good for recovery too brother! .. lets your body rejuvenate what needs it... without extra demands on your system! ... apart from monitor/medicate your diabetes and rehab exercises. .. what exactly do you need to schedule sleep patterns for?  .. not taking a shot mate but I'm puzzled here!

ive perfected the art of  the cat nap. just sometimes if i do it at the wrong time, it backfires later on. (when it truly matters)

vielen dank my friend, going to talk with doc tomorrow about vivitrol   injection. there are nno surgeries on the radar. this will help with the withdrawals. will see.. just will have to HTFU. AND DEal with that. but something i must do.
