wanted non operable connecting rod

non operable gs conrods. i have a gs piston from pat i plan on using in a walking cane ( which i need sadly)  i want to use a conrod in its construction. i say non operable because i dont want to keep someones repairs sidelined. just want to use a rod which can never be used in an engine again. . many thanks,

I had a few from previous rebuilds...not sure if I still have them though. I will check. many thanks my friend either way. plan is to use one at bottom to join with the gs500 piston from adidasguy, then make the shaft out of something. was even considering carbon fibre lol.. will see. yeah just 1 really 2 could be done as well if in sets

I have a GS500 with a blown engine.  I don't want to rebuild the engine since I've already done it once.  I restored it in 2007, sold it in 2010, and found it for sale again last week.  Turns out the last guy ran it in dusty Texas without air filters and destroyed the cylinders, rings, pistons, and top end.  Its not worth rebuilding again.  If I can find a reasonably priced replacement engine I will restore the rest of the bike again.  Either way, this engine is toast and you are welcome to have the con rods when I tear the engine apart.  I just dont know when that will be.  Lots on my plate right now and hunting season is about to start.  Priorities.

Yama, I was digging around my garage last week and found some SOHC Honda CB750 conrods. Not GS500 bits, but if you can use one....

yeah those will work.. how much? this cane will be with me for the forseeable future due to injuries and diabetes . but its also a tribute to adidasguy. ( using his piston) i use his gloves when i have to cover some ground with the wheelchair. anyhoo let me know price Eh? am greatful my friend. just realised i had built a yamahonkawazuki as my first gs500 in 03, i can do same thing with the cane lol.
