Hey Gang!

So this is totally a stupid question. BUT WAIT!

Who needs a service manual? Like a legit factory service manual?
if you already have one disregard unless you want to read my rambling.

A long long time ago....

Have a 500E, blew the motor, joined the USMC, left the bike behind, moved to cali, got married, got injured, got out of the USMC, stayed in cali parents brought the bike (and all my biek stuff) to me cause it was taking up room,  and go dad he brought my service manual.

Now as of now it's only a paper copy. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to scan it and put it as a PDF. I'm willing to share this amazing bundle of knowledge with you guys.

Like I said let me know and give me some time. Not sure if this is allowed.

Thanks Guys,

-Jeff

I think the issue is copyright infringement....

I don't think you can "publish" the manual onto a web site without the owner's (Suzuki) permission.  (notify your lawyer!)

But I suppose you do do something like..

If anybody needs a "you know what"...you can contact "you know who"  and he'll sent it to "you know where"...

no mention or reply from the powers that be. but as mentioned copyright infringement  would be the hangup more i think about  it. but i passed message onto all ( forgive me but i flagged it so it went from here to all staff including myself. with a good note. otherwise i would have sent same message 7 times lol. tbh tho im thinking it wont be allowed cause years back (copyright issues) mentioning P2P sites was frowned upon. i know i got growled at once for this. but should have answer before too long. they may post directly here they may answer my inquiry after which ill post decision

I think the suzuki service manual is available on high quality pdf through some non reputable sites. I don't know but people have told me that......
Can one buy the suzuki service manual? Is it still available?

The actual (legal) copyrighted service manual is available direct from Suzuki....

For the low, low price of only $80 U.S.

Illegal, quasi legal, semi legal, shared, borrowed, stolen, found, or in some other way nefarious copies are available for cheap to free...if you know the right people or the right place to look...(and have not too much of a conscience)

I think the deal is however..it to keep any such illicit activities far separated from this chat site...

Well, I definitely will not hurt this website so Lets just say I WONT GIVE THE SERVICE MANUAL TO ANYONE!

However, if anyone has questions or needs a reference, send me a private message and we can chat through personal email and you may be able to get "useful information."

So, this site will be fine and all the fellows on here can get some needed info.

:D

You can go ahead and scan it. There are places on the web that host service manuals, ask them if they would want to store a copy. Else it can be anonymously uploaded to several public file sharing places.

We wouldnt want to host the copy here at GSTwin though.
