California carb questions

What should i do with that extra hose under the carbs?  I have removed all (most?) of the other California equipment.  Should i cap these off, or should i connect them together but take out the "tee" connector?

Also there is a small air jet in the intake plenum and a look at the parts diagram indicates that the California carbs have a different size 1.35 vs 1.30.  Should i de-California these air jets?

Also, what are these tubes for?  Just curious, their function is not clear to me.

You mess up those things - you're pretty much done for.
Don't touch those, no need. Just toss in the jets I sent and you're fine.
