Any one have any input on venting the bike to the outside of the garage. It's getting colder here and I'm trying to get some carb things worked out.  I was thinking of putting some sort of piping on the exhaust vented to the outside (corbonmonixide and all), but I'm not sure how this will effect the running of the bike.

Keep part of the garage open & have a fan venting outwards, don't pipe the exhaust.

AND, get a carbon monoxide alarm!

Open the door, wear a extra jumper and some warm pants.... the cold air will help you think clear anyway!

You could "build a booth" using visqueen to isolate a part of your garage to minimize heat loss while still being able to vent the area with the motorcycle. Kind of like building impromptu paint-booths. Just add a decent fan and presto!
