Engine covers

So. I have a 2001 GS500 that was a basket case but is now running like nothing else I have ever been on. I mean its no Busa but its fun and I love it. So, I noticed that the left side engine cover for the stater is leaking a small amount of oil. At first I thought it was the gasket but come to find out the cover has a small crack in it. The previous owner admitted to laying it down. I guess he never noticed the small amount of oil that exist after the bike is sitting. When I say small amount, I mean a spot the size of the palm of your hand after sitting several days. I look on ebay and find covers for $20 but they are for earlier years. Mid 90's. Will they fit on my bike??

Yeah, they are the same, only different color.
