Removing the front fender mounting tabs...

Has anybody done this? I am assuming there is plenty of material in the casting that it should not be detrimental...

Why remove them? .  That brace area does provide some support to the forks,  it likely will affect handling!

A number of riders here have installed a thicker fork brace and it improves things!

Think there would be little drama in removing the tabs. .. just don't think it's a good idea!

I took mine front fender off to paint it but I'm not sure how easy it will be to get it back on... may be stuck with no fender

Try it out first eh!   ..  bit of wiggling around maybe? .. if not then check with folks here what you can loosen on the clamps to allow some more wiggle room!
