I haven't exposed her to snowboarding yet, though I vowed never to try to teach another girl to snowboard, I likely will.  She did live in Boulder for a while, so she may know how.  She is impossible to anger and I have called her drunk from the poker table to cancel a date before with no ill effects.

She has only a brother.  But her parents own restaurants. 
We live in Missouri, but I think the legal age in Kansas is 15 if you're under 21, 17 if you're over 21.  Something like that.
