Hey guys looking to sell off Mamas GS500e. Cosmetically it needs a little tlc. It is all there and everything works. It is not currently running as i broke one of the carbs. When i got it it had weak compression, forks leaked,chain was shot. So i replaced the chain, new seals, dust caps and oil in the forks. New brake pads. Honed the cylinders, new oil and compression rings. Jetted the carbs and shimmed the needles appropriately for the pod filter and exhaust, had the tank cleaned and coated at a rad shop, and made sure it was safe for her to ride and learn on. Fast forward to today, bike sat for a year, i was cleaning it up for a pending sale and broke a carb. Just thought id throw it out to the gs lovers first and see if anyone wants it? It was a solid running bike, I have shopped around on here for carbs and may yet fix it as i know a running bike will sell much easier to the general scooter crowd at large. If you want it but only running, i would be more than happy to work with someone, say you buy some good carbs and for another 100 bucks i would install the jets and shims, balance and tune it up.
