Is me not having any air filter on the carbs would be the reason why im bogging out?

I just replaced my fuel lines and fired it up, idles and runs fine but when I went to take it for a very short spin (without air filters, just open carbs) it bogs down.  I know I will have to eventually troubleshoot it, if there is a problem, check jets, lines, etc... but Im just wondering if its too much air, I guess I can just put my filter back on and retry.  I just didnt think it would bog down so much without an air filter.

Yea could be. You are running less back pressure - so there is less vacuum - aka not pulling enough fuel out.
Clean and put filter back would be a good start.
Cool.

Put the air cleaner back on so the internet speculation doesn't have to begin  :thumb:

Bingo! I guess I should have tried that first but I was preparing my thread/post for more problems ahead lol.  Lunchbox is back on and thats exactly what that was.  Awesome, didn't think that would make that much of a difference.
