The link to the spring page on their website is here: http://racetech.com/ProductSearch/2/Suzuki/GS500/1991-2000

I'm wondering about pre-load and oil level. The listed numbers are 15mm preaload and 110 oil level, but I'm wondering if those are stock or manufacturer suggested.

They also suggest 15 wt oil, but I'm considering using transmission fluid because I don't want to deal with waiting for fork oil to ship in. Is that a terrible idea? I've seen mixed theories in my research, mostly suggesting that ATF is 10 wt and perfectly fine to use for fork oil.

Thanks!

Menno
I'll have no idea what piece you're referring to unless you include one of the following: Doobly doo, thing-a-ma-jigger, or dibbledy dop.

Those numbers are for their springs.

Tranny fluid is closer to 10w. It won't be horrible, but 15w fork oil would be better. Most bike shops will have some.

There is a cheaper option for fork springs. :)

LOL I actually bought these springs in a part-out after reading reviews for almost exclusively Sonics... I definitely believe in the quality of your products!

Thanks for the info on ATF. I'll head over to the local shop and see what they have.

Cool, sounds like you got a good deal.  :thumb:  Did you get instructions with them? If not, head over to
