no spark on left side only

My apologies if this was posted somewhere else, I couldn't find any info:
I only have spark on the right side, left side is nothing. (Rectifier is new.)


Sounds like the ignition coil?
Anything else to consider?

Hi. I had the same problem a week ago and it was a fault with the wiring on the left ignition circuit. Look for broken wires or corroded connectors. Someone else fixed mine so I don't know exactly where the problem was.

Thanks for the reply!  I found a better ground/jumper cable and was able to get spark.
I think the reason the plug looked like it hadn't been used is the right side fuel mixture was out 4 turns, while the left side (the unused looking side) was only out 1 turn.
I equalized and we'll see if it's better.
