Tank Rusting

I just noticed today that inside my petrol tank is starting to rust (please see photo) what should i be doing about this? Its basicallly just the pole inside

I'd have killed for a tank that clean. That looks just fine. i wouldn't worry to much about it.

If you REALLY feel like getting nerdy with it. you could completely drain it, clean, and coat it with tank liner. But it really doesnt look like anything to concern yourself with.
