Hello!

My GS500E only idles at high rpm (over 3000rpm). I replaced the carb with another one from 1992 gs500e, but the symptoms are still the same. Also took the carb to mechanic who cleaned and synced it. Sometimes it idles at low rpm,  but it dies when I twist the throttle and let it back to low rpms. It doesn´t die slowly, but quite fast, when i let the throttle go. There is no problems, when I am driving and holding throttle. Can there be any problems besides the carburetor?

Thanks,
Alex

Yep, your valve clearances are probably too tight.

Ride it like a 2 stroke:
1: Rev high
2: Add oil
3: Repeat
