Clutch push rod distance

Hi guys, any idea how many milimetres the clutch push rod should be sticking out? I pulled it out, out of curiosity and it doesn't seem to go back as far as it used to be, or maybe I just thought it went further, but it goes in easily until resistant and doesn't go further. Cheers
