Problem with idle, slowly dies

2006 GS500f with 5,600 miles.  Stock exhaust, stock airbox, Carb is jetted for Delkevik slip on I think (128 main), but removed slip on and put stock muffler back on (too loud for me, Dynojet?? kit I think.).

The idle seems to slowly die off and shut off after warming up.  Starts right up cold.  Will start after warmed up, but got to add some throttle.

Took carb off to check idle circuit thinking there might be dirt and everything looks good.  Carbs were spotless inside.  Checked valve clearance and replaced two shims that read under 0.4mm, now all around 0.5-0.6mm.  Reassembled, installed, and balanced carbs without the stock airbox on and idle was fine and did not stall.  Ran on temporary gas tank.

Reinstalled air box, filled with gas, and started.  New plugs, new fuel lines, fully charged battery, starts and warms up then slowly dies off.  Switched from vacuum operated ON to PRIME with no change in results.

Adjusted Idle knob and idle runs at 3000rpm, slowly drop it down and around 2500rpm, it drops off quickly and slowly stalls.  Just a small bump makes it idle at 2500, a little bit down and it drops to 1200rpm and slowly dies within 30 seconds.

I did not change the air filter yet.  Also did not adjust idle screws either.

Any ideas where I should look next?  All hoses are correct and secured.

Thanks,
Tim

Pulled air cleaner filter, turned idle screws out 1/2 turn.  No difference.

After it stalls, it will not start until you add a little throttle.  Seems like running out of gas.

Float height seemed right when I had carb off.

It's opener there in the wide open air...

Have you checked the float height immediately after it dies? Is there a low pressure situation in the tank?

When were your valves done last?

Just did the valves before putting back together.  all within 0.5-0.6mm

OK,

After looking at the air flow diagram in the manual, I did not realize that the small screw controlled the air at idle.  Now I am kicking myself.  I left it go so that I didn't change the setting.  I will remove the carbs again, remove the needle screw, washer, o-ring, and spring and make sure that the passage to the inside of the carb is clear.

Removed left carb needle, spring, washer, and o-ring.  All looks good.
Removed right carb needle and there was no spring, washer or o-ring.

Putting it back together now with another spring, washer and o-ring.

Started up, warmed up, idle dropped down from high idle and now idling at 1200rpm.
