Hello all,

Just joined the forum. Trying to crowd source some advice.I bought my GS about a year back and it came with a digital speedo that the original owner installed. Now, despite the fact that there were miles on the odometer, the speedo wire cluster was not connected to anything and was tucked surreptitiously behind the tailpipe for some reason with no magnet pick-up attached (it looked like it got ripped off, maybe in an accident.). Anyway, as much fun as it is guessing your speed and accumulated miles, I'd like to get the speedo up and running again. I cannot for the life of me figure out he had that pick-up mounted and there are no magnets attached to the wheel, so I've got to start from scratch. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to jimmy rig a pick-up mount to the front fork? Pictures would be awesome if you have done this. Thanks!
