GS won't start! (video)

Combustion!! I finally had a chance to pull everything off and look under the top cover and what do you know...I was wrong about the timing being correct. The markings on the cam sprockets were right but the crankshaft was a full 360° ahead, effectively running the motor backwards. I indexed it all correctly this time thanks to gsJack's provision and reassembled the motor. The problem is, it still won't start. :technical: Its much closer now. I smell burnt fuel and it simply sounds stronger than before, but it still doesn't fire all the way up. What I'm asking now is if anyone has had a similar no start issue? And if it was resolved, what was the problem? I'm concerned now either the valves don't seat properly due to buildup causing poor compression or the cam caps are too tight and restricting it. My next test will definitely be compression. Thoughts?

360 degrees puts it right back where it was. That is one complete rotation. You might want to have a qualified bike mechanic look at it.

I'm gonna assume that's a typo actually. .. 180 deg perhaps?
