Ahhh thank you for the reply and all that info!!!

I've been to York (Spring Grove actually) a handful of times (not on the bike yet tho)... so that's cool!! That area is a huge difference from my small little city/town but it's not too bad  :D

I would be really interested to see your pictures of the blue underglow you've got on your bike if you find them. Maybe start a new thread and explain how you did them, etc... because that's something I've always been like eh about but the more I think about it, the more I am leaning towards adding something like that to my bike (now that it's looking cleaner and shinier than it ever has!)
Superbike bars, '04 GSXR headlight & cowl, DRZ signals, 1/2" fork brace, 'Busa fender, stainless exhaust & brake lines, belly pan, LED dash & brake bulbs, 140/80 rear hoop, F tail lens, SV650 shock, Bandit400 hugger, aluminum heel guards & pegs, fork preload adjusters, .75 SonicSprings, heated grips

Sorry for the delay, I couldnt find any in my archives, so I took one last night before I started to strip the bike down.

I wired the whole lot up to the daytime running light, underneath the headlight, so they would only be on with the key switch. I also wired a toggle switch, so if I wanted to blend in I could. I didnt ride with the lights on all the time, but maybe 50% of the time.

Bumping the thread. A signal dynamics modulator with H4 adapter in the nose of my F and a tail brake flasher are both legal as I've implemented them in the USA and absolutely great! Recommended!

Interesting I was just about to update this thread seeing as a year has past.

First practical thing that I'm sure people wonder about is if it puts strain on the bulb. Anecdotal evidence around the internets is that it does not. I can confirm after using it for a year almost every day, in daylight so it's mostly on, that it has not caused the bulb to go prematurely I suppose the reason for this is that the filament never turns off, it only modulates.

From a user experience POV, it doesn't stop every asshat from pulling out in front of you deliberately but it stops about 50% as an educated guess.

I find sometimes months go by before I'm alerted to my 'faulty' front headlight, then there'll be a bunch in a row.

I am going to shoot some videos of it working to show how it appears to other drivers. Having a light on in the day is hardly better than no light at all, in the glaring Australian summer.

The only negative (perhaps I could call it so) is that it takes an instant longer to switch beams -- a very slight delay. Great system.

"(b) is designed to operate only in the daylight."

Note the word "ONLY"

So a literal reading of this would indicate that it should be impossible to operate modulation at night time, just an over-ride switch (modulation off) wouldn't be legal.
