Ignition switch ?

Need an ignition switch for my 2005, the switches listed on ebay claim they only work up to '98 model year, but would it work?

To save starting a new thread I'll dig this old one up. Any one know the answer to this please?

Part # for 98' 37100-26D03.
Part # for 05' 37100-01D40.

No idea what the actual difference is or if it effects functionality

Could just be a different housing. I know the older ones are bit more blocky looking. I know some years have a different connector for the left hand control, so it could be something like that as well.
