The hidden diode is missing!

Hi guys, I just started working on a project 07 GS500f and have used this site to help me through some tough spots. Well I am totally lost now... There is this diode that is hidden in the wiring harness that is giving me trouble! The trouble is that the replacement part is obsolete and no one has it! Whats weird is that parztilla and other oem parts sites say that it is only used from 04 to 09...
Soooo, I was wondering if i could use an older version of that diode that they do have in stock...
