Morning all,

Wanted to say hi. I was a forum member of gs500e.co.uk but unfortuantly they shutdown the forum.

I was a rider but cannot ride any longer. We bought a 500e 1990 model as a family project and will be needing some advice as we go over and rebuild the bike.

It was bought in bit's and need to fully clean the engine, pistons, carb etc.

Any advice on what products to use in the UK will be greatly welcomed.

I use eBay for almost all of my needs. I'm struggling to find good bike shops where I am, and there aren't any Suzuki shops for miles. But there are good people on here with the odd bit in the garage so it's always worth asking
