Taillight / gauges out

Hey guys, i'm trying to solve my problem, and all my searching seems lead me down dead end paths, so I'm hoping someone can help me out. Last week i took the fuel tank off to check for vacuum leaks, and when i put everything back together i realized my tail light and gauge lights don't work. I checked the only fuse i could find (20ma) and it's good. I checked connectors between tail light and harnes, and same for gauges, still nothing.

Is there something I'm missing? What else can i check? The bulbs in the tail light are both good, and the brake light works just fine. Oh and one more thing, the N and Oil lights on gauges work, but the blinker and high beam lights do not, even though the blinkers themselves work just fine.. Very lost here.

Is it possible that while you were taking the tank off, you accidentally disconnected a part of the wiring harness?

Do the gauge illumination bulbs work too? Have you checked the circuit with a multimeter to ensure power is good throughout?

Find a wiring diagram, and check the brown wire. It powers the taillight and gauge lights (not sure about the high beam & indicator lights though )

It's opener there in the wide open air...

Black/white wire on all models/years/regions have the gauge bulbs, headlight, sidelight and taillights in common, but as the wiring altered noone can really be specific.

But a wiring diagram and a multimeter should help narrow this down. I think...
