Thanks again for all the help you guys gave me I love my 2007 GS500F the more I ride it the more I realize what a fine tuned precision machine and it is I can do 90 on the freeway and is as steady as a boulder. My only issue was when I first bought it it had sat for a couple years as I mentioned in my previous post I got 40 years experience as a commercial Turf equipment mechanic but had never seen a carburetor like this I took it off and rebuilt it checked everything replaced all the parts at needed replacing adjusted it just like you guys told me now it runs like a top from idle to redline. I had the idle hanging problem for a long time it seem to do it about half the time after it was warmed up do it idle at about 3000 and the other half at about 13 which I like after putting about five tanks of gas through it maybe it's cleaning itself out but this idle hanging problem only happens about 1 and 20 times when I come to a stop where are used to happen 50% of the time weird huh I'm just going to leave it I've done as much as I could and I can live with that the only thing I didn't do was drill out the plugs for the idle air and gas adjustment do you think it's even worth doing pulling the carbs and doing that or just leave well enough alone

I'd remove the plugs over the adjustment screws. My stock 2006 GS500f runs well at 3.5 turns out.
