 >:( I bought this Andux headlights from amazon. The seller said they would work on my gs500. However, they came with no mounting harness or brackets and I have found no videos explaining installation. I ordered one and for some reason they sent 2 (i mean whatever, bully to me), they have a heat-sink on the back that screws on and off. Anyone have any suggestions or did i just lose  $40.00 ?

Woah that's a wild looking headlight!

Idk where to even start. Technically... I guess the seller was just being overly general... because we live in a world where almost anything can be made to work with time, customization and endless resources... but most people when they ask, "Will this work with my bike?" they want to know if it's as simple as plug and play.

That all being said, according to the specs in the one picture, it's only a bit larger than 3 inches tall... certainly not the same as the GS's 7" headlight! Also, based on the photos in the link it looks to be something that is meant to fit inside an already existing headlight housing... but that won't work with the GS because of the halogen reflectors/glass etc... plus you'd have to come up with something for inside the headlight bucket to mount it centered....

Guess I should pause here and ask what year GS do you have? E or F?

If I'm reading the item description/specs correctly, the lumens are about the same as a standard H4 bulb (which is stock for the GS) but I'd really like for them to include a picture of the beam pattern to show the low beam cut-off etc.

Very sorry for thinking out loud in this reply :embarrassed: I've had a long day at work and I'm tired lol... but at this point I'd be looking to return that thing and let the people on this forum guide you to something else to fit your wants/needs.

Just like any halogen to projector conversion, it will fit with adequate fabrication and modification. It will require the use of some lamp housing. A gs 7" round won't work because the reflector is glass. Find a 7 inch plastic reflector like one from a Jeep JK and modify it to mount the projector. Then mount that in place of the gs light modifying as necessary.

As sbw implied, it's likely a lot of work for much lower quality lighting than stock. You'd be better off with an entire led lamp assembly.
