Lol thank you. Disregard the vibrating camera. The decision to go on the test ride was rather quick. So I grabbed my tortoise shell helmet, and camera and mount. But FORGOT the rubber mount insulation.
P.s. this phone of mine (LG vn280), has handled 3 years is dying. Its handled 3 years of postwhoritude . does anyone. Know of any second hand Verizon NON smartphones? They seem rather sparse on fleabay. I've a data plan with. My tablet. Dontneed one with the phone.

That's awesome Yama, she's alive!!!  :woohoo:

Looks like she struggled a bit up the hill? Is that due to a lack of torque or is the drive wheel slipping on the rear tyre maybe? Nothing a bit of fine tuning won't help by the looks  :thumb:

I think you definitely need a bigger brake though  :icon_mrgreen:

ej GOD bless him is sending both 2 sets of brake pads, as well as the training wheel. so within 2 weeks she will be safely mobile. i did locate a set of older mtb pads i can use in meantime on one of my parts bikes. also i need to swap one of the front wheels with the back one. because on day one  when i ran the brakes hot it grooved the back wheel. wsill concentrate on that possibly today.

lol it turned out better than i thought it would. 1.5 hrs for video shoot, then compiling in moviemaker, saving as a file to tablet.  then going to burger king and using their wifi to upload. i  swear i need home net. this video was 1.16gb in size.  ej suggested a drag chute lol. i seriously want to get one. if only for looks. i dont think it could go fast enough to deploy it.

Day 1 when I cooked the brakes and slightly scrubbed the wheel rim down Lol.
Need a metal wheel or if not possible, then somehow fab a thin gaug3 metal ring so the brakes can bite into it.

Need a cow horn and a drag chute now Lol.

I didn't realise the brake was on the side of the plastic wheels like that  :icon_eek:

I reckon try to pick up an old kid's tricycle from craigslist or in a garage sale or something... should have steel wheels and might be a touch easier to brake with.

Alternative thought... the motor drives via friction on the wheel with a roller right? Can you rig the roller somehow so when you brake it disengages the throttle and adds more friction to the roller? It may just lock the tyre up which would defeat the purpose though...

What about bicycle hubs? I have no clue on them but maybe a kid's bicycle hub with a disc brake and lace it to a smaller wheel? Just suggestions, I'm way outta my depth here!  :dunno_black:
