You guys gotta watch it.
That's all I can say, but you'd only need to watch 5 mins - the first 5 mins.
The rest - just for your enjoyment of some panhead choppers riding through the country.
Cool.

I watched the movie again just a week or so ago, and one question ended up nagging at me - do those choppers have front brakes? I think Billy's does, but I am not sure about Wyatt's. Apart from that, I loved the movie when it came out and saw it three times, and it has stood up well to the test of time.
Back on bikes and loving it.

Quite possibly not.

At least in AZ you legally only need one brake.  Harley Davidsons from before, IIRC, 1951 didn't even come with front brakes from the factory.

pretty much true. on a sidenote, while i lived in phoenix, my roomate had a cb750 chopper (extended springer type fork, along with a coffin style fuel tank. and no front brake, only 1 mirror which was essentially not usable lol) but a fun ride. especially when the sifter forks broke, and it was stuck in 3rd. a750cc scooter. az has some rather lax moto laws. kinda like if bike is running rich and wont pass inspection, alcohol will lean it out.

i love watching old movies ( like john wayne westerns or war movies, ) and seeing a bunch of cowboys is a field somewhere. think wild west days, and you would observe from time to time tire tracks ( automotive) in the grass.
