Long time reader, first time poster
Ill give you a brief story below what im looking for, for those that are interested

I have a 2012 GS500f
Heres what im looking for
white/blue front upper fairings without headlight( i already have that)
I have already found the right had side and also the headlight bracket but am happy to buy it all as a set if the price is right :)

Ok so some f***wit kicked my bike over in a crazy drug fuelled rage  >:( and managed to break almost everything on the right hand side of my bike including but not limited to; indicators on both side, right hand side fairings, handlebars. exhaust and other things. He really went for it and obviously had it in for me and my bike..

Lets fast forward a few months of me dealing with insurance and deciding to buy the repairable ride off from insurance and go about fixing it up so it can get back on the road. I decided to keep it cause its been such a great bike for me and living here in australia i cant get on a bigger bike until im on a full licence(2+ years away). So i fix it all up, remove the fairings, get a cool new headlight, wider bars and start to make it into a bit of a cafe racer thing like i always wanted to.
The next step i had to take is to go for my VIV (vehicle inspection), and thats where i really ran into some trouble ... when i get there i find out that you need to repair your vehicle to the manufacturers specifications not just so it is roadworthy. Therefor it looking like a gs500 is not acceptable and it needs all of it fairings, which mostly got thrown out thinking i wouldn't need them even tho i could have been repaired with some fibreglass.  So that i have done all this i have learnt a valuable lesson on doing your research before getting yourself involved in something...

sorry for terrible grammar and a bit of a rant, its been a while since i posted on a forum or anything..

Hi grumpy,
If it's just a one-time inspection you could consider finding someone who would lend you parts for the inspection, then swap back to your new setup afterwards.

Good luck getting back on the road.
