yes...it looks great...but why not save those 1000 (shipping etc. included) towards your next bike?...1000 is a lot of money to be spent on the GS...
wileyco, K&N pod, rejet 22.5/65/147.5, F16 flyscreen, progressive springs, 15t front sprocket...more to come: katana shock

Too much to spend on a GS?  Hell, I bought one for $400, got it running for $50, and then spent $300 on rear sets, $400 on exhaust and jetting, $400 on a bandit rear wheel and tires, and $300 on other stuff.  Not done yet.

cheaper than my race GS, which is $4000 and no end in sight.

bought mine for 400$ with gobs of extras and only paid 30$ plus tags to drive it. now im looking for a titled frame that will fit 86 ninja 600 parts, asit looks like im getting one for free with lost title and original owner moved.
Accelerate like your being chased, Corner like you mean it, Brake as if you life depends on it.
Ride Hard...or go home.

Its you Vs the pavement.....who wins today?

for $6000 (GS + Aluzio kit) you can get this

for $6300 (SV + Factory Lower) I got this (nearly twice the HP, better suspension, FI, etc...)

If you just gotta get that "gixxer" look, or you want to wrench on your bike then I can understand going for the GS.  But, if you are prepared to spend that much for a stock bike and a cosmetic mod, you can do better than the GS-R.  I think that's why so few go for the aluzio kit

Could you hook me up with the plans for that, I have some free time and I want a project. Thanks!

I just want the cowling but I don't think they sell that separately.  Too bad.
