Well I tracked down who did it..... (Rather  my boss did and passed it on to me.) .  

The SOB LIVES in the same building ....he busted a tailight  on his own car -pieces of it were in the same pile as my tail light pieces... And what do you know the pieces fit his busted tailight perfectly.....

The PIECE OF shaZam! .......

His Mother (who called me tonight- got my number from My boss...) works ata a ford dealership (she's the Body shop Manager) and has offered to fix my Truck  and give me a rental  til it's done....

Now.... at first I was receptive to this plan..... but now that I've thought a little about it.... I think I'm at least going to go the insurance route and have a bodyshop I know fix it.  If She's having it done on the side at work   -How am I supposed to believe they wont do it the cheapest quickest  way they can?

I SHOULD call the police and have the kid cited .... My Boss also spoke to him and he was indifferent....(That the part the makes me WANT  TO HURT HIM. ).....



So... my truck will be fixed ..(Maybe I'll just pay for the estimate and get a new taillight and keep the change...)

I had thoughts about carrying my welder over there...running a tek screw into a door panel (for a ground) and welding his doors shut on his car....

Maybe later-the priority is getting the truck fixed- It's driveable......no damage beyond the bodywork and taillight......

I REALLY want to feel my hands around this kids neck.......I think we will have an encounter maybe today....he's not going to like it.....

I would hold off on calling the police until you have some serious proof it was this kid.  These people can deny any conversations with you if the police approach them.  Get something on tape or in writing because there doesn't seem to be any eye witnesses

He's already admitted to it and His Mother knows he did it... I have his insurance information (although it's freaking MAIF....MD auto insurance Fund.....so it;s governement insurance...PIA for sure..).

The kid called me last night....didn't sound remorseful and did nothing but  irritate me more by calling me...." I hit it but i didn't think I did any damge"....he didn't even look ( rather he knew he f%&ked it up and took off hoping to not get caught...).

I'm calling the Body shop first thing (well they open in about 2 hours....) and see if they deal with MAIF....

I will get my truck fixed and I WILL get a rental truck ....shaZam! i should get some money on top of this for the aggravation....

Anyway...I'll let you know if the kid lives or not....GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

btw something else you can do, you are (i believe) entitled to some $ because even though your vehicle will be fixed to condition was in before, the damage has been done tis no longer an "un/never been damaged vehicle"$$$$$$? :mrgreen: cha-ching!!!!
