Rear axle bolt installed in reverse direction

Just got some new hoops and I have just noticed that the axle bolt has been put in the wrong way so the nut is on the right hand side of the bike. I was wondering if this is a problem seeing as there is some asymmetry to the bolt.

Shouldn't matter.  There are spacers that center the wheel.  The axle is basically just a bar with threads on one end.
