Trouble finding the correct sticker set for a 2010 GS500F

Hi Guys,

I am looking for the left fairing decal set and thought it would be an easy enough process, so I called the local Australian Suzuki dealer to get an idea about the price (a bombshell of course) and also got the part number.

The part number for the left side decal for my white/blue 2010 GS500F is:

68195-01DE0-GWS

Armed with this information, I found a Suzuki dealer in Germany who sells the GS500F new parts for less than quarter of a price of the Aussie dealers, so I placed an order with them after they asked for my VIN Chassis number to make sure that all parts matched in colour.

I also ordered a centre fairing from them along with the small stickers that go around the monster turning signals.

The order arrived from Germany a week later.

* Centre fairing (in white) is 100% match
* Centre fairing side stickers (in blue) is 100% match
* Left side decal is that of a 2009 model (exactly like the one Adidasguy has)

Everything else looks the same about this decal except the bit around the bolt area, mine is white and the 2009 one is blue

I went back to the German dealer and told them that this side fairing sticker is for a previous model. They told me that under the above part number that is the only sticker colour available nd they have nothing else listed!

The question I have is this:

Is Australia the only country to have a 2010 model GS500F in the White/Blue colour? Is this colour available in Europe at all?

How can I order the correct colour side fairing sticker from overseas?

Canada had the 2010 model. You may have to get on the parts list of a dealer in your area or Canada. Most sites world wide do not list anything beyond 2009.
Your local dealers that sold you the GS500F 2010 should have parts lists for it. They may have on-like parts lists so you can look up the part number then google it.

I have found nothing yet that lists the specific decals for the 2010 model.

I am just confused as to how the part number which was given to me by the Australian dealer for a 2010 model sticker can be the same part number for a 2009 model which has a different colour scheme.

What diffrentiates the parts number for those fairing stickers?

I thought it was the last part of the part number that made it "year model and colour specific"

OK Guys,

I got to the bottom of it finally and the Australian Suzuki dealer has sent me the full parts list for the 2010 (and up) GS500F (white/Blue) model which others with a same model may find useful:



The correct part number for the left side fairing decal (which has the GS500F logo part of it) is:

68195-01DE0-HWN

$186AUD in Australia
$90.00AUD in Germany

The price from Germany if you can wait is half the price of the same item in Australia. I ordered from these guys and the stuff was in Sydney within one week:

One week?! That's probably faster than ordering it in from a Sydney Suzuki Dealer!!

Also, if you notice that for different years of the same design and different color schemes (generally changed every year), the base part number stays the same only the last few characters change based on the color scheme.

Just because I'm lazy, does anyone know the parts numbers for the decals on the black/graphite 2012-2013 GS500F?

Give Suzuki Australia a buzz and they'll send you the list like they did above with all part numbers.

Good stuff, I got my list from them as well....not Suzuki Australia (sorry for the confusion)

For the strickers, the price difference is not that great, but for panels and other bigger stuff, it's definitely cheaper overseas.

I got the centre fairing and it was half the price of what Sydney City Motorcycles quoted me.

Just can't find the time to fit the new fairing on the bike

I just compared the price in Germany is about the same as BikeBandit or Cheapcycleparts in the US.

I am repainting my GS500F and I want to order the stickers from your bike's color scheme (I live in Canada) but I am very confused about the schemes and so is the dealer it seems.

If you refer to the parts list I posted above, you will notice that the cheaper one is only a one side sticker while the more expensive one is the entire set (left and right hand-side). Your dealer should know the difference.
