R6 rear shock install Q’s

I am going to do the R6 rear shock upgrade on my GS500F. I have the shock but not the bolt and bearing sleeve from the R6.

I can source new, but curious if anyone has opened the lower bracket holes and used the stock GS bolt?

Never mind, I had it backwards, just read the R6 bolt is larger than stock GS  so will have to source one from Yamaha
