I want to like that rack a lot more than I do.

The Givi rack 526F blends in better and is not so ugly. It's meant for their monokey box, but it has a nice flat surface

How many km/M do people have?

I just clicked over 82000kms the other day. Only really ever done basic maintenance.

shortened exhaust, because..?? idk, wanted to do something.
it was the stupiest thing ever. now i've got exhaust in 3 pieces, got a bandit 600 exhaust to somehow mix them up to something cool. just might do a project of it, with pics, there aint many threads of exhaust modifications.

max

New choke cable, new clutch cable, repainted and refitted a bunch of parts with SS hardware (luggage rails, headlight rim, headlight mounting plates are now all satin black).

One of the luggage rail mounting point's threads stripped during reinstallation though (the original bolt came out damaged so I'll blame the previous guy :icon_rolleyes:), so will order a thread repair kit and fix next week.

RideShield

Cleaned a lot of crud out of the gas tank today.  Swirled Kerosene and 3 small pieces of flower pot chain, dish soap and water, and power washed. The petcock filter had big pieces of sludge inside of it (baffling). I used q-tips to clean it inside and out. Dried with old t-shirts and shaking with the last one getting stuck and giving me a scare. Swirled a bit of 2-cycle oil treated gasoline until I can get to the gas station. My last years experiment of swapping in #20 pilots was a failure. The bike had to warm up to be ride able. I'm back to all stock jets.
