I have a 2005 Suzuki GS500F. I've recently had my tank refinished on the inside due to rusting, both carburetors rebuilt, and a brand new battery installed. When I am idle after gassing the bike it seems to idle at 3-4 RPM. Any suggestions on how to get the RPM's back down to 1-2 RPM's?

lower the idle speed using the adjuster.

I could be wrong but if you messed with the carbs, it could be that they weren't mounted correctly and now you've got an airleak, although I'd first mess with the idle screw and see if that works.
Good luck.
