K&N Lunchbox (RU-2970) Installation

Hi all,

I just picked up a lunchbox filter along with some new jets for my 2007 GS500F, and I have a question about what to do with the vacuum/breather hoses that connect to the stock airbox. I've seen a picture of someone else's setup which had a small pod filter on the end of the crankcase breather tube (the one that connects to the top of the stock airbox). Would I be okay in doing that with the other two hoses that connect to the bottom left of the stock airbox when I install my K&N and/or what have you guys done to install your lunchbox filters?
