oil drain plug thread type?

 New here, and first post!
I have searched for the thread size of an 2008 oil drain plug and cant seem to get a definitive answer on the exact thread size. the reason I need the thread size is because I got a delkevic exhaust and it covers the plug just enough to not get a socket on it, (although I can get a wrench on it i cant turn the plug because of the pipe situation), so my thinking is either a diff plug from a bike that has a smaller head that might fit or maybe a allen wrench/ hex head.
either way I'd rather not have to take my exhaust off each time to change the oil. I'm open to ideas!

Thanks for the help.

Welcome to the forum!

I'd be willing to bet that it's M14x1.25×12.

I remembered they had specs when I bought my magnetic plug years ago:

The OEM parts sites are listing the same part number for my '98 and your '08.

Hope that helps!
Superbike bars, '04 GSXR headlight & cowl, DRZ signals, 1/2" fork brace, 'Busa fender, stainless exhaust & brake lines, belly pan, LED dash & brake bulbs, 140/80 rear hoop, F tail lens, SV650 shock, Bandit400 hugger, aluminum heel guards & pegs, fork preload adjusters, .75 SonicSprings, heated grips
