Guys over here finally started getting bikes.  Went years before one grabbed a new grom, then another got a pcx150, a ruckus, another ruckus, anooother ruckus and another grom.  Not big 'spensive baddies like yours but still fun.  One of the guys talking about a new cbr1000rr now ,. hmmmm

Interesting the trend of small CC bikes, but those Groms are a lot of fun.
Still hoping Yamaha joins the party with a pint-sized 125 but I also hope they do it with a YSR remake.  We've got the "naked" with the Grom and Z125 Pro, the "scrambler" with the Monkey, now we need a small sportbike.

I've done it again...

It's a Honda CT90.  I'm told it's a Gen 1, I don't know if that's good or bad, but I guess I'll find out when it comes to tracking down parts for it.

I've got what looks to be a complete bike except for the airbox and lights, I'm told the bottom end is seized so I'll have to crack the cases and see what's up.
Might just do an aftermarket engine swap, depends on how hard the parts are to get (and how expensive they end up being).

That should be fun, Watcher. I would think parts are not that hard to find, especially since they are still making variants of that engine under license in China.

Yeah.

For better or worse I'm finding these really aren't worth a lot of money, so for me it's not really worth my time trying to restore it to resell it.
So I think the route I'm gonna take is a Lifan bolt-on engine.  They're only a few hundred bucks, converts it to 12V, and it'll get more power than the old 1960s 90cc.

Paint/clean the parts I can use, sell/donate/dumpster the parts I can't, enjoy it until I get tired of it, eventually sell it and hopefully at least break even.
