Spark plugs, perhaps a minute amount. Oil filter? Well... I can't see it improving performance. I guess you read that GREAT DEAL! post too. Sounds like someone trying to make a quick buck.

I have a friend who used to be a motorcycle mechanic. I bought a WHICK oil filter. was told it was a great filter. My friend now tells me that I should really get a SUZUKI filter. He says it will be better for my bike. Is this true? I find it hard to believe, but I find it harder to believe that he would steer me wrong.

and i also heard that FRAM filter sucks...

what makes an oil filter a bad filter??
wileyco, K&N pod, rejet 22.5/65/147.5, F16 flyscreen, progressive springs, 15t front sprocket...more to come: katana shock

I've heard that about FRAM too. Apparently FRAM filters are held together with cardboard end-pieces on the filter element, when most other decent ones are held together with metal.

Of course, I hear the open-element Frams are metal, so dunno if it still applies. I just got a K&N filter for my bike, seems to be really nicely assembled.
